I've always had a great love of photography, but rarely the means to indulge as much as I would have liked. My cameras have been quite basic or humble, but they have allowed me to grow both my skills and enthusiasm. I rarely go anywhere these days with a camera close by. I hope you enjoy the pictures in my galleries as much as I enjoyed tailing them.

I bought a Kodak EasyShare CX6200 for my daughter as a birthday present. It took some great photos with fantastic colour, as you'd expect with Kodak.
I bought my wife an IXUS 70 for when I took the A610 away on work trips. It was a good solid camera that took some nice happy snaps.
I bought this Fuji FinePix S5700 on a whim. It was a good price and the lens on the A610 was not retracting properly. I enjoyed the long zoom and quality pictures, but the focus and menus were slower than the Canon. I really had to work hard to get good pictures from this camera, so I didn't keep it long.
I sold the Pentax and bought this Nikon D200 in October 2011. It's 5 years older than the K-x, but despite its age it has given me more creative freedom through advanced features such as the ability to synch flash up to 1/250 and attach synch cords/remote triggers etc. It's also build like a tank. I've acquired a nifty-fifty f1.8 which is sharp sharp sharp and a 70-210 f4 which will open the telephoto world up for me. I also have a 12-24 f4 wide angle zoom.
